While the dudes of history were pretty awesome (or spectacularly horrible) in their own right, the ladies that were left out were badass.

This is an attempt to grow my own knowledge of strong, courageous, weak, scared, scarred, and imperfect women that history has forgotten about.

Three years ago, Alejandra Orozco (eleven at the time) asked her idol, Paola Espinosa if she could take a picture with her. Today, being the youngest athlete of the mexican team, Alejandra stood at the podium next to her idol not only bringing joy to their country but also to celebrate Paola’s 26th birthday.
